Stupid fever. I woke up at 3am last night to find myself shivering with a temperature of 38.5. So I quickly popped in a nurofen and went back to sleep. That’s why I’m off work again today.

This really sucks. I went to take a nap, and woke up an hour later. Instead of freezing in my jacket and blankets I felt warmer. Uh oh, my temp’s hit 39.1 and 6pm. So I’m currently trying to bring the temp down with ice cubes. Except for having a hard time focusing and occasional headaches, I’m fine. I don’t even feel like sleeping. Maybe I’m naturally hot. heh. Ok but this really is worrying me, cos the ice cubes aren’t working even though they hurt quite a bit.
Oh and you know how sick people are always coloured yellow-green in books, yeah it’s pretty true, because other than my slightly flushed cheeks, the rest of my face looks yellow, and a lil green.

I knew I am squirmish around severed human body parts.
What I didn’t know what that I am extreeemely squirmish around any kind of severed body parts, including dolls and the big roasted cow at the candeck.
I am never going into a haunted doll house again. The plastic scraps, and bloodied body parts (i think were made of masking tape and paint) were a bit too much for me to handle in there.
So to the seven people who went in, namely Bj and Mel, thanks for the “ew what is this?!” warnings, lending/sacrificing a hand to hold, a back to hide behind, and a shirt to pull. My sincere apologies if your shirt went out of shape.
Right now, I’m home and good after watching Step up 2. I hope I don’t have a nightmare on body parts tonight. For now, I’m about to embark on an arduous task of sorting out beads that got mixed up in my bag.
I closed up my last hook and rejoice. I completed (with a little help from Qien) 20 pairs of earrings in about 2 weeks and met my target. Tonight I can file my nails and know they’ll remain unchipped.
I was reading “Marley and me” in 151 on the way to cell group, and i had to stop. Cos I’ve reached the point where Marley’s dying and I’ll look like an idiot if I cry in 151.
Today I decided Katie deserves <3 <3 <3 cos she’s so cute. But Vivi deserves <3 <3 <3 <3 <3. And Bingjian deserves.. umm. <3 <3 <3 .1 (3.1 hearts) HAHA. I felt bad that he lost to Katie initially.
(I realised there’s like more urge to keep this blog going just cos it’s new.)
i will never peel beansprouts or touch turnips for at least 2 years.
all these for the sake of my school. ^^

Today I went to the hairdressers’ to get my hair trimmed, and I did my eyebrows too. Tomorrow’s interview’s kinda like an excuse to get it done. Anyway, I spent half my time trying to figure the gender of my hairdresser, because she had a really manly voice. And everytime she combed my hair it hurt because of the superduper hard bump I had on the stupid fire extinguisher yesterday.
I’m off work tomorrow morning because of the interview.

Today the childcare place had Sports day for the K1s and K2s. It was really tiring picking balls for them. Well, anyway, when I got back, this nursery kid, Jiawen decided she didn’t like me for half the day so she refused to look at me and pushed me away when I came near. Maybe because I made her eat her red beans yesterday during snack. haha.
Took a half day to return to ACJC to help laoshi with the fun O rama earrings and to settle some money matters. After which I met Viv and Bj to watch Horton hears a who! I love it, especially the little furry yellow thing that said the quote in the title.
And congrats to Bj, Grade 8 Piano’s O-VER dudee. We went to B&Js (Ben and Jerrys’, not Bing and Jian)
and we ate good ice cream! Look at Bj’s orgasmic face.
And we caught Bj and his 101 poses on camera (drive mode).
I must say I’m impressed with Johan De Meij. Bj told me that he wrote LOTR before the movie came out. Oh, and I’m actually impressed with Bj’s sense of humour too!
K: omg johan de meij is so cool ok
BJ: he composed 3 symphonies so far. 1st was lotr, second was based on new york, entitled The Big Apple, 3rd is called Planet Earth, composed 2 years back
K: omg he’s cool. bj you must become as cool as him
BJ: haha ok, watch out for my 1st big break ok

BJ: sure. ok. you want complimentary air tickets or not
K: of course.
BJ: ok la give you backstage pass
K: ok set. then u conduct it ok. aiya tell you what. recruit me in your orchestra. crap I’ve got a headache. I hope it’s nothing to do with the big bump earlier today.
BJ: eh i think you better go see the doctor reallyyy
K: no la i think its okay. i didnt’ puke so it shd be fine
BJ: if its not ok tmr you better go see. if not i cant recruit you for my orchestra
K: alright. haha

BJ: ok then watch out for symphony no.1 ‘Army Daze’
K: haha, not a very flattering title.

march muse made me so nostalgic =(
it kind of marked the end of my 1st year in perc. and i cannot stop but recall how i screwed up ‘07 muse badly. like feste romane when i am supposed to be offbeat and all the random song that i screwed up. and i wasnt comfortable in the section at that point of time. wondering whether staying in band was the right choice.. but, one year on and i didnt regret it… =] cos i made new friends, learn new skills and of cos, clear the misconceptions that ppl have abt percussion.
time is so limited.. this time next year, it will be my turn to listen to amanda perform on esplanade stage..
Viv and I decided that since we both blog so little, it’d be nice to spice both our blogs up by having two people blog in the same place (thus the combined blog) so at least there’ll be more to read than usual one liners. This blog will be up and running a lot more soon! Just you see:D
